Description
A tribute to the Gwen Stacy character, who was killed in the comics back in the 70s I think. I had a reprint or something of that issue as a kid and I always liked that story.

The composition is wonderful, so the colors.
I only with the woman could have more contrast, but maybe I'm asking a dumb thing? Great!

thanks for all the comments and crits, they were very helpful. I went back and tried to address a lot of those issues, and tweak other things that were starting to bother me.

GlassShard - this was done in Photoshop. Thanks for the suggestions - Spidey is now de-wanged. I hadn't seen that til you mentioned it, and then it was *all* I could see.
jfrancis - yes, good catch - thank you.
Chris - done with Photoshop 7.0
May - I was trying to convey the idea that the woman is a ghostly/supernatural figure. She was killed in the story, so this image is meant to show her spirit.

Spidey's body is a bit overstyled, but I don't think that's a problem and it's probably a conscious choice. Great painting style! +9
